Have been feeling movement for the past couple of weeks but haven't felt anything today- should I be worried?? I've bought a diet coke and sweets to hopefully get baby moving! Have my 20 week scan in 6 days...x

I'm 22 weeks and there is still no pattern to the movements. I'm having weekly scans at the moment so know that all is well but its difficult not to obsess about movement / not movement!

If you're worried though I would call, to put your mind at rest if nothing else:)

I don't feel regular movements but I haven't due to low lying placenta (23 weeks).
I would suggest if you have been feeling movements and they have just stopped, then yes you should at least ring and speak to someone.

If you usually feel movements and you now aren't, then I think you should speak to your midwife. You know if there have been changes, and it's important that you are checked out to put your mind at rest.

How long have you been feeling movement for?
My mw said not to worry at 20 ish weeks as they dont move as often. If you are at all worried phone the labour ward for monitoring. HTH

Hi newmom2b, i'm the same. I'd started to feel movements and kicks, and over the past couple of days i've felt nothing. I'm turning myself into a wreck thinking about it. Luckily my 20wk scan is tomorrow, so I hope I will be reassured then about the LO.

From what i've been reading obsessively from the internet (never good- I know), some women feel lots of kicking around this time, others don't.

Not very conclusive huh!
