Pregnancy

I'm a hormonal, unreasonable, shouty, crying mess...

Please tell me, because I've forgotton - when do the hormones let up?? I'm only 5 weeks, have been grumpy with DH and poor 2 yo DD who doesn't know why Mummy's being so mean. I'm feeling very agrophobic and don't want to leave the house at all so DD is cooped up too...

We had a big cry and I said sorry for yelling at her this morning.

But I would just like to be normal again please. I would NEVER be like this normally.

Last time I was at this stage pregnant there was all sorts of crazyness going on and I was very stressed so I chalked up being down to that. Apparently not the case. Sad

Been there, done that. It calmed down a bit at around 16 weeks but is gradually coming back again at 34 weeks. It was bad enough this time for me to say that this is my final pregnancy. Just isn't fair on the rest of the family. Poor DS and DD couldn't do anything right and I'm just surprised DH stayed in the house. One thing that did make it a bit better was to get as much sleep as I could. When I was tired I was 100 times worse.

Ohh ditto LolaJane! First trimester, no fun at all. Second trimester, generally good but still had a big emotional wobble last weekend. To coin an over used phrase, 'it's a journey'. You'll have up days and down days but there will be many more ups than downs soon enough. Hang in there!

I found it got better after first trimester but still a bit hormonal at 20 weeks... more laughter than crying though here.
