Hey everyone,
I'm 12 wks and want to go on holiday in May half term but need to decide on a place! Oh and convice DH!
I want somewhere warm and a few hours flight away and somewhere quiet but with beach. but not full of youngsters as my figure is on the decline :( boo but hopefully I'll have a bump by May rather than just flipping flab! :(

I was looking at cruises? Or Greece?
Anyone got any ideas? I usually go away in Summer holidays so no idea about this time of year and with it being 1st time pregnant I'm not sure what I will be able to do but I know I would like to do lots of swimming:)

Any help/info would be great :D

Thanks

hey, still not decided where to go!
Want somewhere away from party areas, somewhere romantic and where we can indulge in the local culture. Thinking Italy somewhere??

I went to Ibiza in May, when I was pregnant with dd2 (15 weeks), had brillant time, flight not too long, weather beautiful but not too sweaty betty. In fact have been back twice since, am going in June with dd1, dd2 and dd3 (she'll be 4 months then), we think she was conceived there last year on holiday, don't worry we managed to avoid incorporating Ibiza into her name Wink.

Really recommend going somewhere on holiday when pregnant, sickness just disappears when you can swim, enjoy!

i like crete. Try ag nik in crete as there are some nicer places at the east of the island away from so many tourists.

Hi,

Why don't you go to Turkey?
DH and I went to the following resort for 2 weeks and it was really relaxing and gorgeous
www.cactushotels.com/cmfc/cmfc_hotel.php

The food was really good and it wasn't overrun with kids.

I went to Rhodes in May many years ago and it sounds about right for what you are looking for - weather not really hot, but 20 degrees or so (you may well not want really hot weather at 20 weeks or so as you bloat more in hot weather when pregnant).

Swimming would be in a pool not the sea at that time of year anywhere within a couple of hours flight.

Have fun!
