Stomach pains - reassurance needed please

Hello.

This is my first post on this part of the board, but I am getting myself really worried and am hoping that by posting this I will find that what I am feeling is actually normal (or at least, not bad) for this stage in my pregnancy....

I am now 7+2 and since last night I have had a fairly bad stomach ache. It's more of a dull pain and is actually fairly similar to the type of pains I've had for the last year on and off before I was pregnant). (I was diagnosed with mild endometriosis last summer, had it treated, but the pains continued.) I've had stomach aches on and off since getting my BFP, but this one has been constant for over 12 hours now (it really bothered me last night and kept me awake) and I'm beginning to get myself a bit wound up about it.

I haven't really had many symptoms (other than sore boobs and a bit of queasiness that I think is more in my head than anywhere else!). Has anyone else had stomach pains in early pregnancy and had everything turn out fine? Does this just sound like normal stretching pains?

Thank you very much in advance and fingers crossed!

implantation happens between 6-12 days after ovulation so if you are 7+4 you are past that. Is it a pain similar to period pain or a nauseous pain?

Sometimes you can have implantation pains, I not 100% on sheen these happen but I'm pretty sure it's in the early stages of pregnancy.
If you can have a warm bath and feet up, my dad always says that if pregnant women laid down for 6 months we would have less problems, Obviously this isn't realistic these days but take it easy :-)

If you are so worried ask your GP!!! They will put your mind at rest! Your body changes so much in pregnancy it is probably nothing serious but the worst thing you can do is get worked up and stressed, calm down and relax and if you need your mind putting at rest see GP!

I'm sure you will be fine!!!

Hello and thank you for replying. I have actually, but at the risk of TMI, it was harder work than normal and less than expected! Hopefully that's what it is - not glamorous but exactly the kind of cause I was hoping for! I will go and find myself lots of fibre....

I think I'm twitchy because it's so similar to the pains I had before getting pregnant (which the doctor's never did quite get to the bottom of). Also, it took us 14 months to get here, which I know is not long compared to some but was certainly long enough to start to get worried about it never happening. I think that there's a part of me that just can't quite believe that I'm here and is terrified that it's going to be taken away. I've been (fairly) relaxed so far - although time is going slowly - but these stomach pains have just got me a bit worked up! We're having an early scan next Monday so will just try to relax until then....

Belu - sorry to ask a really personal question, but have you opened your bowels in the last 12 hours? Pregnancy constipation (even less than a day's worth) can be really uncomfortable and keep me awakle at night!!
