Does anyone suffer from this?
Pretty sure I have either this or tendinitis
Pain is in my wrists and thumb
Sometimes general hands
And my baby finger pops
I have horrific health anxiety and have booked a doctors appointment but it's not for 3 weeks
I'm so terrified it will never go away I'm not sleeping 😭

Anyoneeeee?

I had this in both wrists and my doctor gave me steroid injections. It was amazing and stopped the pain immediately, and it never returned.

This was after physio had had no effect though and I could barely lift my baby anymore.

I had this in both wrists/hands. My wee one was a very big baby, and it got so bad. My GP referred me to the physio, and she gave me good advice and excercises, and sent me away with some wrist support strap things for both hands. The wrist support definitely helped, but if I'm honest, it didn't totally go until my daughter learned to get herself about with crawling and then toddling. That gave my wrists a break.
I feel for you, it's really quite debilitating and so painful. I couldn't even get my seatbelt on without a lot of difficulty and pain. And doing up trousers or shoes! Actually, it just totally was rubbish. I'm very glad I'm past that stage!
Wish I had better news. But definitely look into some support items for your wrists and thumbs. It's most certainly worth it, in my opinion.

I'm also lifting my little one without using my thumbs
It's so awkward tho!

Do you think it will ever go?? 😢😢😢

It's a nightmare
I have a bad back and lingering spd so this is just too much 😭😭
Where is your pain?
Mines only been about two weeks and I guess it's just from over use
I'm using Ice, taking ibuprofen and bought a splint but it's still bad
In my area you can self refer to physio but not sure if they deal with this!
Ahh what we go through for these kids! X

I currently have this. Wish I had some good news, hope someone pops along here to say it has gone or something. My lb is 18weeks and I have had it for about 2 months. Been to the doctors twice about it but not that helpful really. Said to buy a splint called a spica that supports the thumb and wrist and just to have ibuprofen as am breastfeeding so can't take anything else, have been given some exercises to do, not sure when I'm supposed to do them! The doctor also said I need to get some support in the house as I need to pick my lb up as little as possible, not going to happen unless the nhs are going to pay a nanny for me! Hopefully someone will come along with some good news for both of us
