Please can we start a new thread? Think we might be about to be noticed.

Hi all

Blimey, some of you were up late - how do you do it??

NL, hope your head is ok after the key incident. Still makes me mad thinking about how bloody dangerous it was.

Runny, glad CBeebies Live was fun.

I am lost - what thread is GMM referring to?

Hi to everyone else - hope you and your babes are all well.

Had a lovely day today. Went over to my parents for Christmas lunch, which was yummy. Great to see the girls of course, and it seems as if they had a great time whilst dh and I were galavanting around Dublin!

Bathing - every night J and W get in the bath together don't plan to wash W hair every time, but J thinks its hilarious to pour water over W head. W ends up laughing too. Little nutters

What/where is the HD thread?

hi folks.
quiet night on this thread but not in MN in general!
gmm - i agree with you. things like this on MN make me very sad and pissed off. harder still when you kinda "know" the people involved. i have been accused in the past of sitting on fences and not jumping automatically to peoples defence but i feel so awful for the poeple in RL who have been affected by this and whose lives are been talked about here.

i thnk to a certain degree we take people as they post and present themselves. that is the warm open and accepting part of thinsg like MN but the flip side is that people can get manipulated and hurt. That includes people who arent given the chance to come on here and post to defend themselves.

i also then think about some of the lovely people i have met on here and met up with in real life - and that is threason why i seem to continue to whittle away minutes/ hours on here!
luce - C gets a bath every night. filthy wee bugger needs it . its more part of our bedtime routine tbh.

Meant to say, fantastic tree IMBM, do you think you should maybe add some tinsel?
We have alll decorations handed down from our parents, as well as the ones dh made with his brother (kung fu shepherds ) and so we have a 'tasteful' (in the window side) with all the best hand me downs and a 'tasteless' (other) side with the rest of the rubbish family heirlooms. Plus a bit of tinsel that goes about one third of the way down the tree. We do have nice lights though

Bathing - I do tend to bath him every day, as he has the stickiest, skin-staining poo ever, but handily would poo straight after breakfast. Now his poos are solid (sorry if TMI or you're eating like me) and much less predictable! Wash hair every other / every three days.

Thanks IMBM, I've just found that thread. Very indeed.

I completely understand how you feel GMM, but please remember the good things about MN.

Ange, it is about the HD thread.
I feel the same as GMM to be honest, but then, this was the reason I have kept away from this thread.

Hello All

Not been able to catch up at the moment. Have had a manic weekend. Have been singing in my Dad's muscial every night, plus shopping on Fri, Shopping on Sat and a birthday party today. Feel absolutely shattered.

Hope everyone ok.

GMM what's going on? Are you ok?
