Developing/ improving psychic skills

Has anyone with slight psychic tendencies managed to improve or develop them? If so, how? I feel that as I get older, I am able to accurately predict many more things, and I was wondering if there is a way to work on this?

Okay, I realize that many people don't believe in psychic abilities, etc., but please start your own thread to discuss/de-bunk it. Smile

There's a guy on FB who has a group to support people developing their psychic gifts, it's called Intuitive Icons. Watched some of the videos on his main page, looks good...

Oh and I forgot Tarot.

I have had my deck for 35 years, it's so powerful now I don't often use it.

I think there are many starting points.
Scrying, divination, using cards, crystal ball, meditation, crystal work, witchcraft spell.
Simply allowing time for the mind to be at ease.
I like walking around old buildings- I can sense and hear snapshots from the past.

When I was 3 years old my parents took me for a picnic one sunny day to the centre of Edinburgh.
I lost the plot and started crying about all the people under the water not being able to breathe.
My parents tried to console me- there was no water in the park, no pond, no reason to think of anyone drowning.
But I was inconsolable.
My parents did not know at the time that we were having a picnic on the site of the Nor Loch, ( drained in the 1800s to form a park) where many witches were tried and drowned.
I have been developing my own abilities lately, I live near very old buildings and an Abbey dating back to 1100, it's a great place to walk around and feel all the events that happened there.

Yoga! It helps me relax and taught me how to silence my mind to allow for those small things to come through which won't be lost in the commotion of our brains.

Trusting your gut to, go with your first instinct on people/places it's usually right, and the more you listen the more aware you'll be

I think self care is important. Rather than focusing on your abilities, just give them space to naturally develop. So keep your body and mind healthy, get plenty sleep, make sure you declutter your mental and emotional life as much as you can. Spend time outdoors in a natural environmnent, cut down noise, negative things like toxic people, violent or disturbing stuff on TV. Then your abilities will grow naturally.
