Newborn struggling with wind / crying.

Only me again... (twice in one day Confused).

My little one is currently 16 days old and is being formula fed (Cow and Gate).

I'm struggling as she is constantly upset following a bottle, despite spending so much time winding her. She falls asleep at the bottle most times when feeding, despite attempts to keep her awake. Following this, when I try to put her down, she wakes and is unsettled, appearing to want to feed again.

I've tried Infacol to help her and it works occasionally.

Does anyone have any advice on this? Or tips to help wind / potential colic?

Make sure she's not taking in too much air when you're feeding. Should have milk covering the teat. Seed to reduce the burp time for us.

When she's fed lay her down for a couple of minutes, then put her over your shoulder and Tat should do the trick

How are you winding her? I wind mine over my shoulder, if nothing comes up I then sit him on my lap, with his head bent a little forward and that always seems to do the trick. You will know if she is suffering from colic, as from what I have heard they cry none stop for hours because of the pain. It must be painful as when I was winding mine the other day he was was silent and happy, then all of a sudden let out an almighty scream then did a massive burp, then he went back to sleep again. Aptamil anti reflux milk is special milk for this kind of thing too. So you could try her on that and see if you see an improvement.
