Worried sick about my little girl

My daughter has just gone in to y3. Learning difficulties were mentioned in y1 but we were told to wait and see.
She saw the SENCO in y2 and she dealt with my now teenage daughter (who has dyspraxia, dyscalculia and dyslexia) and said almost certainly was my younger dd dyslexic and dyspraxia.
She is such a happy confident little girl despite this and is so so clever she can tell you about all sorts of things, makes up amazing stories and she is just so so happy.
Now she's coming home every evening saying things like "miss g said I'm copying" "miss g says I write too slow" "miss g says I'm a fusspot" and so on and so on.
Her homework isn't marked and her reading record hasn't been marked either since going back for the new term.
She also has a red cover to help her read (it stops the words jumping she says) the learning mentor gave her this and now her new teacher can't find it and has been promising for a week to get one.

I'm not an overprotective mum I don't bug the teachers but I'm so upset I'm seeing my little confident girl doubting and getting stressed with herself for something she has no control over.
My elder daughter ended up self harming and been a school refuser during secondary I don't want it to happen again.

I would speak to the teacher. Just raise your concerns about how she is worrying about remarks made during school time. I would say something like, she is quite sensitive and worries when things are said.
I wouldn't worry about the homework and reading record, just keep reading with her at home. I would be making a fuss about her red overlay and asking for school to provide a replacement.

Thank you coconut. I spoke to her teacher last week and told her she was getting upset and worried.
I'm confused as the teacher is lovely and very approachable but my dd is obviously still worrying.
Will try talking to her again tomorrow.

Is it a primary school or has she moved to a junior school?

If primary could you ask for senco and teacher and you to meet for a general catch up of how things are going.

If juniors I'd make sure a proper handover was done from infants and ask to meet senco to discuss DD needs and what the school can offer.

It may be time to get in a ed pysch if her confidence is being affected. Ask school about this.

It's primary she's been there since reception but when I mentioned the dyspraxia to the new teacher last week that was the first she had heard of it.

Her confidence is still there but she's starting to mention stuff more and more and it's getting to me that it's obviously playing on her mind. I've seen it happen to me eldest and I won't see it happen again.

I'm so upset that she's been told to keep up and write faster she can't put much on paper but ask her and she will tell you :( . Why tell her to do something quicker that she can't even do slowly ?
