Recommendations for minimalist footwear for DD?

I need some outdoor shoes for DD 14 mo and would prefer something not too structured. We currently have some soft Bobux shoes for her which I like but the soles are suede type material that I'm not sure would be waterproof. Also they were a very kind gift and although Bobux has shoes with some different soles suitable for outdoors available they seem very expensive to buy considering how quickly DD will likely grow out of them. Would be so grateful if anyone has any good cheaper alternatives they can recommend.
