As stupid as this sounds I really don't think my baby boy loves me. He's nine months old and is lovely to everyone except me.
I started work again yesterday and he was brilliantly behaved for my parents just as he is for everyone else. When I got home though he couldn't care less but a minute later when his dad walked in he got all excited and went straight to him. Today he has been a little grumpy monster till again his dad came home from work and he was ecstatic!
Night times are the same. He will let me feed him but then won't sleep and cries whilst pushing me away. His dad then walks in and easily rocks him to sleep. This has gone on for ages.
It's getting really disheartening because for a few weeks now he has been the same (work was the most recent in rejections). I just wish he liked me enough to be happy when it's just us and not be moany. I'm bending over backwards playing, entertaining, taking him to places and groups yet he acts like he hates me being near him.
Does anyone have any Idea how I can make him like me. I'm not looking for love but at least some semblance of like would be brilliant.
