Bath time Hell! Help!

Ok night time baths are hell for me. If anyone has any tips, please advise.
Hair washing first hurdle- usually crying & fuss from Youngest. Eldest messing when asked to get out and shouting at top of voice. Then when wrapped in towel- shouting and screaming 'I'm cold' when Im trying to get youngest dried... Youngest not letting me fully dry hair & running away. Then once they're dry they're delighted and Im a crumpled nervous heap!!!! :-(
Slightly better in morning as I have more energy but still leaves me drained!
Any tips much appreciated!!! :-)

Bath times very much like described by cruxible etc. All I have to add is that I haven't washed my dd's hair for about 3 months. It is a short bob and looks lovely and shines and doesn't smell or anything. It does regularly get wet as she loves going in the shower and bath

Ha I completely understand not wanting to do anything that challenging with a child at 5pm on a Friday. There's a time for everything!

Really SarahandEmily?
If I don't wash my daughter's for a sweet it starts to smell musty like a dog's hair! Lol!

Thanks so much for all your posts. I ordered a towel dressing gown for my son online today :-)
Any ideas on when it might b poss for a little girl to dry her own hair and if I should get her her own little hairdryer already- all in the name of leaving them to it? ;-)
