Yeah, i remember waiting for Smash Hits to be delivered to our local newsagent

I also remember a massive poster of Adam and the Ants and the 'Prince Charming....tra la la'

Does anyone remember the Grange Hill song 'Just say No?' 'You're my favourite waste of time - Nick Owen i think' and what about 'Rock me amadeus' gosh i have a long memory of songs..list goes on forever

I think Smash Hits is still going. Wouldn't read it now though.

I loved it. I used to dream of being a Smash Hits journalist. Morten Harket featured rather heavily in those dreams too.

Oh, Morten Harket was my dream man. (I was 12.) Was just thinking the other day, I was 12 - he was 25. Not cool. Now I'm 32 and he's 45. No problem there that I can see. Oh for the opportunity...

OOh, Duran Duran and Aha!!! I had so many posters of both of them on my wall! Was convinced I would marry Simon Le Bon!!!
And little boy is called Morten in my DS's nursery class...must be another Mom with fond memories of the chiselled cheekboned Nordic one...

Was making my DS laugh the other day, dancing round to Madonna's "Get into the groove"

It was great to see New Order live (on TV) at Glastonbury....would love to see them love, if only for old times sake.
