I have no problem with porn, as long as it's not children, and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if I found dh was using it.

Not anymore. I went though a recent-ish phase of being really upset it, but now it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Although I did have to ask DH to download an alternative player for his adult mpegs as he was using the normal media player which kids play their CDs on and it has a 'recently viewed' list. I was upset by the thought of the DSs catching sight of some of the titles. I've also asked him not to delete any of it from the history (only DH and I can view it as he system administrators on XP). I'd prefer to be able to see what he has been looking at, if he were to delete stuff then I'd be worryig myself silly that it was 'real life meet up' type sites etc. I told him this and he said he was deleting stuff so's not to upset me. I told him that I don't delete stuff from my history and I would prefer that he did the same.

That's the whole problem with internet sites..I think porn as in the long established magazines and videos are pretty pathetic but OK if you're lacking in imagination. They probably serve their purpose - along with a box of tissues. BUT, all too often these sites are exploitative, criminal and abusive, and the viewer has absolutely no way of knowing.

Don't have a problem with porn as long as it's created by consenting adults and doesn't involve children or animals - although I agree that it's difficult to know whether those involved are being exploited or coerced.

TBH, I suspect that there are women in porn who are more exploitative of men's weakness than exploited by men - and good for them!!!

It should go without saying that I take a very different view of situations where those involved are under duress.

When I was pregnant with ds1 and exh was being a pig - no attention to either me or the baby and I was feeling like a very fat and ugly whale, I found a stack of porn magazines in his wardrobe. Had a good cry, then went out and bought a stack of parenting magazines and replaced the porn mags with those.

would have given a lot to see his face when he went back for a 'read' !

I agree with Sparkler..It's okay together but it really pisses me off when I find dh watching it,he get's all these DVD's off some dodgy bloke at work. And if it's not them, its on the net!
All those porn sites are really dodgy too. Our computer got a virus from a porn site

Nope. Most men like to look. It's when they cross the line and want to touch that it gets problematic.

I don't mind a little bit but I do mind the thousands of pics my DH has on 'his' comp, so once it's all down loaded I go behind him and delete it all! I don't mind the vids either (he's only got a few thou). I mean if he only had 20 or so pics I wouldn't be bothered. I agree thou if it was dodgey in any way then he wouldn't be with me (and i'd shop him myself to the police)

I don't find consumption of porn offensive, but I do get deeply worried about it's means of production, coersion, exploitation and all the rest of it.

thereis an erotic online magazine aimed at women and is therefore slightly different in it's approach -much more reliant on the senses than just T&A and flesh. It's nerve dot com, There I haven't posted a link and defiled anyone so it's up to you lot if want to check it out. For adults only I should say though.

I just think men do think so differently to us don't they and most men (although won't admit it) look at porn in some shape or form.
