Looks like it, I love cake. We spent the morning at a bowling party so totally missed the sun, then dh promised ds a bbq but realises afterwards he hadn't cleaned it after he had used it last year so spent a good hour getting that clean before spending afternoon in the sun, now trying to convince ds it is bed time even though the sun is still out lol, I hope your ds didn't get too covered in paint reds a nightmare especially with no clothes on x x

Tea for two, then, Iozwil? I am currently out eating cake while DS is at home with DP. He (DS) apparently refused clothes all day and is now in the garden painting his Thomas Tank engine red. Happy days

Is the tearoom still open? I've just doscovered it and I love cake. I have one DS who's 3 and I'm a properly ancient mum! Anyone around for a bit of sofa sharing?

Did it close? Maybe it was just an extended vacation. Let's see who we can tempt back.

Yes, Monopoly Junior is meant to be a quick game -- yesterday one game lasted nearly an hour! I about fainted. At least his reading has come on loads and SB could read all of the chance cards AND be the banker.

Schools are still in session here (East Anglia). It doesn't matter much to us except next week (I think it's next week) everything will suddenly get really busy.

I'm off to YOUT hospital today. Hopefully it's the last appointment for a few weeks. It's also SB's swimming lesson day and I have a meeting at the church this evening. Plus all of the normal jobs and prepping for science club tomorrow. I think it's going to be a busy one here at the Scout Hut. Personally I'd rather hide in bed today.....

At least he's doing all of the math and reading now and I just have to roll the dice and move.

This time, in 48 hours, we will be on our final decent (seatbelts on, ears popping, wings adjusting, final decent). Tomorrow it's the final packing and shopping (British treats to take back). We leave on Monday afternoon.

Glad the sleep over was a success!

Listening to SB tell MrScout about the trip. He's saying he and I are going to look out for each other at the airport and make sure we and Bunny get on the plane safely because we are a good team.

Poor DS. Is he feeling better, teabagsmummy?

We spent the weekend at PiLshire were SB got even more books (we're closing in on ten new books in two weeks) and got to run around in their huge backyard.

Have sorted everything for the last minute trip home. Have a huge "to do before we leave" list and need to do a packing list today. Passports and money are out, though, and those are the biggies. Mom nearly sobbed when I told her I got the meds and flights sorted. SB is very concerned about being sad (especially my mom being sad) but is worried they (Mom and Dad) won't be excited to see him because they'll be too sad.

Off to YOUT Hospital this morning for monthly appointment. It might be the last one until January. Fingers crossed.
