Happy new year everyone - now it's a new year we have a new survey for you!

We've been asked to find out what you think about energy providers and the cost of the gas and/or electricity you use in your home.

It doesn't matter if you do or don't look after the bills in your home - the survey is open to all UK MNers. Please note that some of the questions in the survey focus on gas and electricity - if you don't have either of those at home (e.g. if you use oil or solid fuel), we'd still like you to take part as the rest of the survey will still apply to you - please just tick 'not applicable' for the questions that don't apply to you.

Please click here to take part in the survey.

Everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £250 Amazon voucher.

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

Thanks for all your comments so far - to answer some of the queries:

~ We're doing the survey for one of the big 6 energy companies but we'd rather not tell you which one at the moment because we don't want it to influence people's responses to the survey (either positively or negatively!). If it's ok with you all, we'd rather hold off and tell you once the survey's finished when all will become clear!

~ For those of you who mentioned that you have oil or solid fuel at home, not gas or electricity - apologies that some of the questions aren't relevant to you - the company we're doing this for don't supply those forms of fuel and they didn't want to gather your feedback on something they can't do anything about. However, there are lots of questions in the survey that are still relevant so please do still take part but just tick 'not applicable' for the questions that don't apply to you.

Jellykat - yes, that's normal - the survey goes to the MN homepage when it's finished.

ThePhantom - that's fine - we can live with typos!

MeltedAdvent - don't worry, we can cope with name changes
