So what is the UltraLift Challenge? The UltraLift Challenge is an activity created by Garnier to allow women across the country to test UltraLift anti-wrinkle cream for free and see the results for themselves against Garnier?s Wrinkle Reader. Last year 18,374 women put UltraLift to the test and 80% saw a visible improvement in the appearance of their wrinkles.

Wrinkles are irritating more than anything else, they show my age!
I liked the smell and it absorbed really easily on to face.
Yes I noticed a difference was just a 1 after two weeks of use.
I will continue using it certainly at that price, very competitive price, think I paid over £20 last time I bought a similar product.
Will happily recommend this to others.

I didn't like the smell very much, bit overpowering. It did absorb easily.

Yes big difference: within 2 days I had aged 10 years and was at least a 4 on the wrinkle reader and had simultaneously developed spots on my cheek. I found it so depressing and embarrassing to look so bad that I stopped using it.

No. But I understand that everyone's skin is different and it might be great for other people.

I recently tested Garnier UltraLift. It is an amazing cream. It does visibly lift your skin and softens lines. It gave my skin a really healthy glow and made it look healthier. It leaves your skin soft and smooth and absorbs quickly and easily. I would highly recommend this cream and actually have done.

Yes I did....No3 around the eyes and No5 on my forehead/at corners of mouth (I obviously frown and scowl more than I laugh!)

I'm not really bothered about them, they have grown with me so I see them as just a part of my aging face now.

I liked the smell, it was fresh and not too overpowering. The cream felt very silky on my skin and it absorbed easily and didn't leave me feeling greasy.

I noticed that my skin looked visibly smoother, even after only a few applications, and it felt much smoother and softer as well. Several people commented me on how well I looked after about a week of using it. When I used the reader at the end of the trial, I had gone down to No1 at the eyes and No3 at mouth and forehead, so a visible difference.

I think that I may continue to use it once my pot has run out, it seems good value.

I already have when complimented on how well I was looking.

I'm not sure how much the difference was down to just using this cream, as I didn't really have a daily routine as such prior to the trial, so perhaps I would have seen similar results regardless of what cream I was using. Still, my skin looks fresher and feels much nicer to me and others so I am happy with the results. I may try with a cheaper cream for a fortnight and see how it compares before going out and buying more of the Ultra-lift though.

The cream has hardy any fragrance, which I like. It felt light, non- greasy and was easily absorbed. All good!

I was a 1-2 on the wrinkle reader, which I think is a really good idea to have with the cream. Not used other wrinkle creams though so not sure if they all have them.

~ Prior to starting the UltraLift Challenge, I didn't use any Garnier products. In terms of wrinkle grade, I did not really have any, except for furrow lines on my forehead.
~ My lines did bother me a bit. Although they aren't very noticeable, they seem to deepen anytime I was suffering from a lack of sleep or fatigue.
~ I didn't mind the smell. It was OK smelling in the sense that it was very lightly perfumed, and didn't smell very chemically. It is what I would expect from a cream, and I actually prefer my creams to not have a noticeable smell. I used the night cream, the SPF cream, and the serum. All products absorbed easily, and the combination of the serum and cream left a not unpleasant tingly feeling (I recognised it as the retinoid tingle).
~ Although I didn't change grades on the reader (I wasn't on it to begin with), my skin did feel firmer, the furrow lines were much less noticeable, and I was pleased with the results.
~ I wil continue using the product after it runs out, and will happily recommend it to others.

Sorry for the delay in submitting my feedback - I wrote a epic review last week, then my computer crashed and lost the lot.

First off, a big thank you to Garnier. I was one of the lucky 9 who had tea and scones with Davina, and it was fab :) She was very inspirational and passionate about the importance of a good skincare regime and very enthusiastic about the Garnier products....

Top tips from the day included: always extend your skincare to your neck; it's worth investing in a good facial occasionally; always apply SPF, even in winter; don't smoke; try to get a good nights' sleep, and always smile, even when you're feeling lousy.

We were given a very nice goody bag, which included Ultralift cream with SPF as well as the one without....Confession time: it's summer, and I have stupidly fair skin, so I have been testing the version with SPF. I'm not sure what the point is of having a 'sans SPF' version, although it has been working wonders on my cleavage :) :) :)

Somewhere around Grade 1-2, but more concerned about my forehard than eyes. I think the wrinkle reader is a bit limiting.

I'm not a huge fan (!) but more interested in damage limitation generally, than worrying about a few lines.

I'm not a huge fan of the smell (its a bit chemically) but it's not too strong. The cream feels lovely and light, and absorbs very nicely.

Not really. I have always followed a thorough skincare regime (and having been using a leading high street chemist's brand of products for several years) and didn't feel the UltraLift cream made any discernable difference.

Probably not - it is a little bit too much like a lotion, and I prefer a cream that leaves my skin feeling properly moisturised. I'm looking forward to trying the night cream and serum, though, and might continue to use it in combination with those - I didn't want to mess up the trial.

Yes, if they were looking for a fairly light, inexpensive moisturiser.

Just that I think all day creams should have an SPF included :)

I was already using Garnier UltraLift before I started the Mumsnet test (it was on special offer) so had already looked at wrinkle reader. If I?m not smiling, it doesn?t really register. With a bit of a smile, I was on about a 4. (Lesson learned ? don?t smile!)

Like many people on here, the eyes aren?t massively a problem area anyway. I have quite a few deeper wrinkles on my forehead. I don?t like them as it is a sign of my age (which I feel particularly as have two children at primary school and a lot of the mums are about ten years younger than I am!) but I have to accept them as part of who I am now (not my character though! What kind of question is that?).

I like it. It smells quite nice but not overpowering, the smell doesn?t linger. Feels good on the skin and absorbs pretty quickly. I?ve had problems with creams in the past as I have sensitive skin but my face likes this one.

I think that my skin is probably a bit smoother since I started using it as I have been using it for a couple of months now. Maybe the wrinkles are slightly reduced, possibly I?ve changed by a grade or so but of course laughing and smiling do not help! And as I?ve commented below, the wrinkle reader really isn?t that helpful or easy to use.

The wrinkle reader is really not very effective. I think that it would be more helpful if you were to use actual images of people?s crow?s feet at differing stages rather than just digitally fiddling with the one image that you have used. I can see that you must have done this to attempt consistency but it just makes it unrealistic to use effectively.

I was probably between a 1 and 2 depending on whether I was smiling when I looked at the chart or not.

I only really look in the mirror twice a day when I'm getting washed so they never really bothered me, probably just part of me really.

The smell wasn't really that strong, but it did make me think of aftershave when I was putting it on. The cream absorbed into my skin beautifully and I didn't feel greasy afterwards. In my opinion my skin felt hydrated and plumped up all day.

As I said my skin felt plum and hydrated all day long, not really sure if there was any difference in the wrinkles around my eyes, possibly slightly or it could just have been wishful thinking.

I think I would prefer it as a night cream, I like to use some kind of day cream that has an SPF in it as I'm not very good at applying individual products.

I thought it felt a lot softer and I liked the feel of it. I don't think it made a great deal of difference to the lines, but they weren't particularly pronounced to begin with. Maybe longer use would make more of a difference.

New - until recently I didn't look my age at all, but a 1 year old and a year of sleepless nights has aged me irreparably.

It was really easy to apply, and smoothed on beautifully - didn't feel heavy or sticky. I really didn't like the smell though. It smelled a big cheap and was overpowering. The smell thankfully didn't seem to linger though.

I didn't notice any improvement in my wrinkles, unfortunately.

My usual moisturiser has an SPF also. I have become very freckly over the course of this test, even though there has been little sun. Thank you for letting me try this product. It was nice, but I'm not overwhelmed by it.

Yes, I used it around my eyes and my crow?s feet measure around about a 1-2 that's according to my husband who I got to check for me.

And how did you feel about your wrinkles? To be honest I am not that bothered about the ones around my eyes it's my frown lines I am really bothered about. I think the ones around my eyes are shallow but much more pronounced on my forhead.

Felt nice - quite rich. Took a while to absorb and I felt it was a bit greasy for daytime use so used it as a night cream too. Found that make-up didn't sit too well on top of it and I looked shiny, which I don't like! So I didn't feel it absorbed brilliantly, no.

No real difference to my wrinkles but my skin in general looks smoother and kind of plumper, which is nice. I did break out in a few spots on my chin though.

The scent actually grew on me but at first it smelt a bit strong and somehow reminded me of suncream. I don't think it needs to be so perfumed.

The cream smelt horrible - far too strong a smell that lingered for ages. Smelt like very bad perfume. Would have preferred it to have much less or no smell. Cream seemed to sting a little to start with when first used. But did absorb easily and didn't sting after first use.

The packaging reminds me of hair gel not face cream. The smell of the cream was much too strong and over powering for a face cream.

Mine - not really noticeable, I'm 36. Wanted to keep them that way. DH is 40 and much more wrinkly due to his work environment. I think his wrinkles are nice, distinguished

Absorbed easily, didn't mind the smell but didn't particularly like it either. Felt fine on my skin - DH felt it stung on his, he didn't like it.

No difference really but probably because was less than 1 before. DH skin did seem less 'wrinkly' maybe from a 3 to a 2. Skin felt softer and more 'plump'.

Yes, reasonably priced nice cream

Would be great with spf and/or some light foundation/coverage. Would take a step out of beauty routine which is always good time wise.

• I tried to but concluded I don't really have crows feet - a few lines under my eyes but my bigger probem is dark shadows

• as above, I don't really have too many so not too worried - although becoming more concerned about the ones that are appearing under my eyes

• not really, but it could be because I didn't have a huge amount of wrinkles to start with - it didn't seem to make a difference to my shadows. Although a lot of people have been saying I look "well" I put that down to my Florida sun tan rather than the cream...

• I will for now but not sure I would chose it above any other cream. To be honest there are so many creams on the market I can't see why I would chose one over another - if anything I will do it on price, what' s on offer etc
