I'm putting together a journal for AIMS (www.aims.org.uk) on multiple births and would really love to know what people would like to be able to read about. I've got an article on breastfeeding twins, and some amazing birth stories, but I'm wanting some more technical stuff that would have been useful specifically to parents of multiples. What would you like to read?

Thank you so much for replying.
I was meant to be 8 weeks last period was 11th February, had positive test on Mothers day 11th March.
10 weeks really that's really interesting to know. I'm struggling with this not knowing x

Sunny, how many weeks are you? Very early on in my pregnancy, the sacs could be seen but nothing else, scanned again at 10 weeks and all was fine x

Hi
This is more of a question so sorry if this in the wrong place but struggling to find information out. I am pregnant with 4 baby sacs unfortunately nothing else has been seen yet so not holding out much hope. Wondering if anyone knows if multiples develop slower? Or where I could read up about normal development in multiple pregnancies?

Many thanks

That you don't need to have a hugely medicalised birth in an operating theatre with an epidural.

Advice on safe exercise in pregnancy. Twin mums have greater need of core ex. I had a short basic routine I followed durinf pg which worked well.

Ditto for after birth as multiple mums more likely to have separated tummy muscles etc.

Everyone seemed to think it was weird that I wanted to keep active but I bet loads of women do!

That if you have a lot of fluid when carrying twins then (all three) epidurals don’t work.

I'm currently pregnant with triplets and even on TAMBA there is very little information on triplets- it's all focused on twins. If you are really focusing on Multiples then don't forget triplets please!

I'd read some of the TAMBA guidance - no point in duplicating what's already out there.

Practically speaking, I'd have appreciated ideas about how to look after my older child on the arrival of my twins. How to identify post natal depression and how to survive it. Details of where to find your local twins club, as mine was invaluable. What to do if you find yourself bonding more with one than the other (eg if you are separated from one).
