The one with the faux triplet mum. What is wrong with some people?

Usually trolls are not just pregnant with 87 foetuses, but they also have several relatives with missing limbs or terminal illnesses, a partner who is having sex with cardboard boxes or trying to kill them or something, and a dead kitten on top.

Oh claire you can't just leave it like that! I will go absolutely spare and stir crazy spending my endless days trying to find out now. Yeah right as if I have time to do that Grin

hi mines

the troll was mainly in the antenatal one, but posted in podstnatal after she (he?) supposedely had her twins early, there was even a labour thread which is what outed the troll as such, as it was full of inconsistencies... can't remember the name though I can just about remember mine at the moment!

I used to frequent a multiples board when my triplets were younger. You'd get all sorts of trolls on there, including perverts who got a kick out of talking about pregnant bellies splitting open. They were real charmers.

Do you think so?
Are they not just out to cause trouble and grief.
When these trolls are uncovered, often they turn out to be teenagers, who are leading ordinary lives.
Or people who are mentally ill, who I dont think are helped by trolling.

in a way it is a compliment to MN.

you get lots of genuine heart warming sympathy here.

Someone who is lonely and lost may crave some of that.

Yeah who was the postnatal thread troll? I have my suspicions... not anyone on here natch :)

Knew a troll from another site - a group of us 'met' her when pg with twins and then the virtual 'group' of about 10-15 of us moved to facebook and she kept up the charade with regular updates and a blog for about two years, during which time lots of amazing things happened to her (adopting a suicide sister's baby, another twin pg, moving to NY). It all seemed a bit full on but my life was insane at the time and I was rather relieved to hear tales that were more far-fetched than my own crazy experiences. She was only outed when one of us tried to sent flowers to a poorly twin in GOSH. Turned out she was some young girl still living at home.

Still can't get over the multiple thing being a fantasy that someone would put so much time and care into.

Multiples obv attract trolls, there was another one in the postnatal thread in the summer.

Some people need a life, or a job!

There was a thread posted by jackiechanfan or somesuch name. She said her baby had died of SIDS at 2 weeks old. She said she'd posted during pregnancy but couldn't remember her login name Hmm. That was in her first post and raised major eyebrows with me tbh. This was 24 hours after Cup had lost Beatrice. I think the outpouring of affection in situations like that is basically a magnet for the very needy. It's horribly sad - but what's worse is when you see people who really have suffered bereavement trying to help people are needy yes - but not bereaved.

x wires there i think - the teen with cancer thread is still there, which other threads have been trolls?

oh ffs! the cancer one was a troll? i posted my sympathies. how was that one found out?

Aitch she was plausible before she posted about the c section. You must have believed her before that post as you answered her questions about when your DTs were delivered.

And actually she said she was still in hospital but not in NICU. I was answering work emails on the day I had my DTs by c section, with one baby in the cot next to me and the other in SCBU.

I agree you are right that a 30 weeker would not be discharged from NICU after 48 hours.

There are 50 posts on the boards by her still remaining. Discussing baby names for her triplets,, triple buggies, hamsters, dogs, Latin, homework projects etc.

CeeVeeBee - I thought she was plausible on the thread that is still further down multiples: "How is this happening to me?" (Or something similar, can't remember exact title!) as I thought she already had twins & had just found our she was expecting triplets... It was only when she posted about 10 days later saying she'd given birth that it started to seem very odd.

I must have got confused about the twin photos then, I definitely remembered the boy/girl babies not older boys.

It was cancer of the appendix, that one?

I think people (including me) who have none or singletons are a bit impressed / fascinated with having multiples, ditto adopting, so its any easy way to get attention.

the DD has cancer one was a troll?
(where she was 16?)

Report

'I think I may have posted on the dd with cancer too. I don't understand people.'

I read that one, but she wouldn't say what cancer she had and then that bit about the girl going out to party I went Hmm.

Report
AitchDee · 01/11/2012 15:59

She wasn't plausible AT ALL!

She said she gave birth by csection on a day that she was on here posting that evening at gone 7pm. She stated she was at home, mumsnetting.

So she went into labour so quickly that she was taken to hospital and given a csection before midnight? Possible I suppose, that something happened whereby it wasn't possible to delay labour but unlikely.

Then she had a baby in her arms, posting two days later to announce the birth, when said baby was born at 30 weeks? Anyone with any experience would know even a baby doing well wouldn't be discharged from NICU/SCBU in less than 48 hours.

She was obviously a troll from post number one and wasn't plausible even to an idiot.

bagpuss, no she didn't steal your photos - her photos were of two boys with curly dark hair, looked about 3-4 years old.
All her other posts are still on the site. She was pretty plausible (except for the dates). A level Latin teacher with a greek mother and egyptian husband, has pet hamsters and a pet labrador.

CagneyNLacey · 01/11/2012 15:15

Oh I didn't know the cot death thread was a troll. Do you know what, I only read it quite early on and didn't post as didn't know what say but I have felt so sad since then, thinking about some poor woman living on her own and going through that. It gave me a knot in my stomach. What a terrible thing to post. Just awful.

Oh, there are trolls about. The one who posted about losing her child to cot death last week.

Some people are disturbed.

Report

Blimey Digestives, I do hope she didn't! She was supposed to have twin boys so would have been quite hard to nick mine I think.

Oh, and thanks Grin. The pictures are very old now as the dts have just celebrated their third birthday but they still make me smile to look at and remember how little they once were!
