Prometrium and shorter periods?

Yet another question for you ladies...
I started taking prometrium suppositories a few months ago. I only take them after I've ovulated until I get a negative pregnancy test and then I stop so I can get my period. I've noticed, however, that my periods have been very short - 2 or 3 days. My usual periods last 4-5 days. I was wondering if any of you have had this experience and does this mean anything bad??

Hey Neeko - prometrium is progesterone and in the from of vaginal suppositories. I use them morning and night after I ovulate. They have been found (although if is no conclusive) to prevent miscarriage in women with low progesterone or auto-immune issues. For example, if your body is killing off fetal tissue, progesterone can act as an immune suppressant, inhibiting your uterine cells from killing the tissue. In my case, I'm taking it in hopes that it will help but have not been tested for low progesterone.

Anyway, I don't think it's a big deal that my period was shorter. Actually, it stopped for like a whole day and then came back a little bit today...weird.
