Waiting to find out if pregnant again after miscarriage

Hi all,

So I am on my first attempt of trying to get pregnant again after having a miscarriage just under 2 months ago at 6 weeks - got pregnant quickly after coming off pill.

Anyway my husband and I decided to try starting again straight after 1st period which I feel fortunate as AF came 4 weeks after the miscarriage. What I am finding harder than I imagined is waiting to find out if I am pregnant again... AF due a week today but any sensation makes me wonder if it’s a possible sign. I know that might sound crazy but it’s actually surprised me how tense I am feeling about just not knowing. I know only time will tell and overthinking won’t help anything.

I am so sorry that you are going through such a difficult time, I truly wish you all the best and hope you are able to talk through what you are going through.

Thanks also for the advice... it’s obviously very tempting to test but I will do my best to wait.

Fingers and toes crossed for you, I know the feeling well.

Just experiencing miscarraige #2 at six weeks, following 9 months of trying. I’m already contemplating how soon we can try again. Over 40, so desperately feeling as if we’re running out of time as it is.

I would warn against testing too early. Have experienced chemical pregnancies, which can be so upsetting. Try and stay strong and test only after AF is late.
