Hello everyone,
I am a 39 year old female and I have noticed in the last year or so, that my periods appear to becoming shorter.
Infact so short, that I have one heavy day and 24 hours later, they appear to be finishing?
I have read loads about the menopause, but it all says the periods get heavier and longer??
I am excessively tired most the time and hubby complains that I fidget at night. Covers on, covers off. One minute I am hot and then cold. I have also had some really 'black moods' and I feel more irrated at things. But I am a mother of 4 year old twin girls so that could be anything .
I don't think I have had hot flushes, or I haven't noticed. But I am more thirsty at night and my sex drive is well, non existent.
My menstrual cycles started when I was 9, so could I be experiencing stuff earlier??
Is this the menopause? Or should I be concerned about something else?
I feel stupid going to the doctors if this is a natural thing to happen.
All advice greatly appreciated!!!
Nic
