Hi i'm mum to boy 6 and girl 10 months. Is there anyone local to me that fancies meeting up during the day with kids or even better in the evenings for a drink without them..? i'm newly single, 31 and need to start making new friends and getting out more.

Hi everyone - the picnic on the 2nd ended up being a bust - there is a new southeast london mums thread and we're meeting up on tuesday the 16th at noon - hope that will work for you and anyone else that would like to come.

Juicychops - I plan to go to the meet up in Greenwich and my ds will be almost 7 months at that point as well and would love to meet up with a mum who has a little one close to his age.

only about three so far but the more the merrier!! I met Jenweber630 last week in Greenwich park - it was hot and sunny and the kids were running around the trees and loving it and I thought it was a perfect place to sit on a rug with a picnic and other mums and while away the afternoon!!! Don't know what will happen if the weather's bad though!

You might have seen this already on the Greenwich thread but does anyone want to come to a school holidays picnic meet-up in Greenwich park on August 1st or 2nd?

Hi ladies - I'm in Blackheath but havve a car and would be happy to meander over to bexleyheath for a meeting - ds is 6 months and we've recently moved here from Seattle. The only day that doesn't really work for us is Thursday as my little one has Monkey Music at 1....

anywhere would be fine with me. I don't drive but 96 bus goes from Dartford to bexleyheath, welling and woolwich so any of them places are fine by me

juicychops of course your not too young. My little boy is at school so i dont like to go too far from home during the day in case of emergencies (paranoid I know but it happened to me b4) so Woolwich would be fine with me, or somewhere in between all of us.
