'Hi, I'm looking to speak to someone who discovered that a person or couple within their circle of friends was significantly wealthier than they'd led everyone to believe. This will have affected the things you did socially as friends, perhaps pushing the rest of you to choose cheaper restaurants / holidays etc for the group in the belief that this couple were not as flush as they actually are and didn't have the same disposable income of the rest of you. Taking part will mean doing a 45-minute phone interview with me. We'll change all key details about you and your friends so that you cannot be identified. There's a £350 payment as a thank you and you'll be able to read, tweak and approve the copy to ensure you're happy with it and satisfied that you can't be ID-d. For national newspaper.
