Experiences with CMS plz..

Hi,
Just interested in people's experiences with the new Child Maintenance service especially compared to CSA...


My ds's dad is a spectacular nob head & does all he can to avoid paying, the CSA sorted it out relatively quickly & put him under an attachment to earnings order but the CMS are taking forever to do the same.. Despite apparently being more efficient & having more power than the CSA??!!

Latest call to them they were giving him yet another chance to set up payment plan but if he continues to ignore them like he has for the last 6 months then they will take action but that will take another few months!!!

I have no experience with them exactly but I do with the overseas CMS and I've been waiting over a year and only just got the draft letter asking him nicely to pay! You need a lot of patience!
