Children's party ideas in Lanarkshire

I'm looking for ideas for a small party for a... timid 5 year-old girlie girl.

My SIL doesn't want a party in the house as there were some rather messy guests last year and she's got enough on her plate just now without the stress of her house being trashed but my neice is not settling well at school and we feel it's important for her to do something with other children for her birthday.

It was going to be soft play but after she refused to join in at another little girls soft play party a couple of weeks ago I'm not sure if this is going to be ideal.
Please feel free to include soft play ideas anyway but if you know of any other places...

No bother- 7th November is my ds's b'day!

Think the crafty plate place is called The Ceramics Experience- can't seem to find a website, but you can get a phone no- its Albion Way, EK.

I was at one today at the Burnbank Centre- its a small soft play (no high structures etc) and only accomodates 25 kids. It's only used for parties. You bring your own food and it costs £28 (actually £27-something) I booked it for dd's party in January, as it seemed really nice, but it's hard to book! They say 4 months in advance, but sometimes they have some weeknights left (we booked a Wed evening, 4.30-6.30)
