Opportunity for Croydon residents: Train to run a Shared Reading group in your community

Do you love books and believe in the importance of reading? Do you want to share your passion with others in the community?

Become a Reader Leader this November. We are offering the chance to train to deliver a Shared Reading group for wellbeing, working with older adults in a community setting.

Volunteers will receive a place on our Read to Lead training course in November. Normally £750 per person, the course is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in group facilitation, community engagement, communication and leadership.

It's a brilliant opportunity for people who are looking to get back into work or just want to be more involved in their community.
