I was the complainant in a trial that finished with a guilty verdict 11 weeks ago. Sentencing was deferred for pre-sentence reports (and he's on bail) We are still waiting for a date the sentencing hearing... Surely there must some time limit or something on how long things can be delayed like this? (Apparently it is just because the court is busy.) I really want closure now so I can move on, but I need this last bit done and the court don't seen to be in any rush to do it...
