I was using a direct access barrister. I've used her for a couple of things now and was hoping that she'd help me with my divorce. She was great getting back to me for my court order as I had to meet certain dates. I then used her to write a letter to my ex and she kept me waiting and only drafted the letter the day before she was going on holiday. I emailed her over a month ago asking her to help me with my divorce and I've heard nothing. Not even an acknowledgement. I've copied in her clerk as well but no acknowledgment there either. Should I give up and look for someone else? What is a reasonable amount of time to wait?
