No but a friend has one with two children and I'm not sure you will easily get 3 car seats for those ages in the back?

No you can’t , we have found car buying really limiting with three car seats and we have similar aged kids to you . You have to have three full sized seats on the back row , most cars even larger ones have 2.5 or the equivalent. We opted for an S Max which fits 3 seats well.

We just bought a Kia Sportage second hand. We are expecting our third this year and have a six month old and a two year old. We are buying the multimac car seat system which is very expensive for a car seat ,will be around 2grand all in,but much cheaper than buying the sort of car we would have needed otherwise. I read about multimac on here actually-basically means you can have three car seats in one row.

We have one with two children. A third car seat definitely won’t go in the middle.

You need a touran, sharan, Alhambra or similar, they've all been brilliant cars for my three

I second a Sharan, it has the most flexibility we've ever had in a car.

We had a Sportage with three, it was a pain. We swapped to a S-Max, I love it and wished we had changed it sooner. It isn't just the car seat element that makes life easier its the storage and boot space that is much better. If you haven't yet bought the Sportage I would definitely look at other options, you need. You need three full seats in the back, S-Max, Scenic, Touran etc.

@amethyst45 do you have to buy different baby carriers and rear facing seats from multimac or does the multimac allow other car seats to be fitted on top?

@Freezeboy you buy the minimac. They are Rearfacing and used in the multimac seats until around 15 months depending on the size of your kids. Only downside is they don't do extended Rearfacing.

I'm due my third in May and my older two are 5 and 8. I got the Rive move from in car safety. It attaches to your isofix and moves the seat approx 7cm towards the door making room for the baby seat in the middle. The Rive move can only be used for group II&III seats, for forward facing and on rear seats. I got two so I can get up to 14cm spaces (depending on car width). Way cheaper than a new car.
