Thin Lining

Hi all

I am doing ovulation induction w/ potentially IUI in next few cycles.

My day 10 scan showed thin lining (4mm) as have previous scans however i have started letrozole this cycle so expected improved lining.

My consultant thinks i will ovulate in next couple cycles however due to thin lining thinks will be unlikely to implant.

If you had thin lining - how was it fixed? what did they do next? can i fix thin lining?

It always feel 5 steps forward, 10'steps back.

Are you in a job that requires you to be sat down a lot? I noticed my lining was thicker once I started walking for one hour a day (I'm at my desk all day otherwise).

I am at my desk so will add a walk in and see how it progresses

Done the usual add pom juice, dried fruit, beef, hot water bottle, castor oil packs.

I heard taking vitamin E and l’arginine could help with lining.

Hi @Optimistic66
you can also be prescribed meds like cyclogest to help with thickening the lining post ovulation.
if you want non prescription options, I would add vit c, vit d, and vit e into your supplement routine as they are all known to help too. :-)

Hi @UserL95 -

Thank you for your suggestion - i will definitely ask my consultant for the next session (I have a VIT d in my routine and a vit e addeda couple weeks ago so will chuck in the C too).

I'm currently 9DPO and testing negative this cycle so feel out already but trying to remain optimistic and ok atleast it got me to ovulate so we've fixed one issue and would have been worse if we didnt know about the lining had i done unmonitored cycles.
