Bloods are showing Chlymdia!!

Hi. I have received my progesterone bloods back this morning, and they are showing 25 in which they told me it was just below ovulation. They also told me my bloods have shown I have had chlymdia in the past but currently do not have the infection. I had told him I had been tested a few times due to my ex partner and urine tests have came back clear. He said i do not currently have the infection and just recommended me to take another set of progesterone tests.

Should I ask for an ultrasound to see if the chlymdia has affected my tubes?

Or anti biotic to get rid of the last of the chlymdia?

Any info thank you

Hopefully none at all, and this is just a precaution. Very best of luck to you.

I've set up a phone appointment with him and going to ask for one. At this point he doesn't know or I don't know the harm it's done. I'm sick with worry incase now I can't conceive Sad

Yeah, to be honest I would. Although thats just a personal opinion. If you didn't know you ever had it and were never treated you won't really know how long it's potentially affected you. I don't see the harm in asking, both for an ultrasound and more detail about whether antibiotics are required for both you and also your partner.

I've never been treated for it and I've never knew I had it until this morning. He said I don't have the infection now but looks like I've had it in the past. Is it sufficient enough to ask for an ultrasound at this point? Been trying for over a year.

No idea about the antibiotic side of things. If it's not an active infection they might not help. Sounds like it's a marker for previous infection? It sounds though like you've not previously discovered you had chlymydia so presumably never been treated for it? I would ask for more info.

I know it can affect fertility though, so if you have been TTC for a while it might not be a bad idea to at least discuss this further and see whether an ultrasound would be of benefit.
