Just that, really.
Been accepted for treatment here, so would welcome any reports/views/advice, anything!
Bit nervous, so anything at all would be reassuring.
TIA

Eggs - I am in hospital now in the induction ward! If you look on the Hewitt centre website you can see all their statistics. They may have had to expand their graphs for me as I am the grand old age of 41!

Nine hours - funny you thought the same as me! Everyone is very polite and efficient but there are just so many people going through the centre it's a well oiled machine rather than hand holding. During one retrieval we were there under two hours. I was actually sick in the car on the way home as I could have done with resting up however, I'm sure this is an efficient way to treat women and if it means more women can access the service then great.

Cheers, ninehours!

Don't care about the 'caring', just need it to work!

I had treatment there as a donor and I have to say thy we're very good, but not too 'caring'.
The recipient got pregnant first time though!
Good luck!

Thanks lozster - and congratulations!
Am in Liverpool, so am having all the treatment there. Don't know what info I seem to be looking for, tbh, ,suppose I am just trying to feel some control but having all the knowledge I can!

Will watch the documentary.

When are you due?

Yes, and am currently having my bump monitored in hospital as am about to give birth!

No guarantee on that front! However the Hewitt centre is the largest in Europe. I was actually a satellite patient so meds and scans at my local hospital and then retrieval and transfer at the Hewitt. I would say that they are an extremely efficient production line for ivf - ie you ate in snd out and dealt with very quickly. That was fine with me but I guess some people may prefer more personal attention.

Not sure if its on you tube but a few months ago the Hewitt was the subject of a documentary on ivf. They are a respected research centre.

So, don't think you have anything to fear at the Hewitt.
