I use one slighlty damp microfibre cloth to clean and then a dry microfibre cloth to dry and polish, on my plasma screen, I think they would be the same as an lcd one

We have recently updated to an LCD too. I cleaned it and the glass stand with windolene yesterday, came up fine.

My LCD tv comes with a 'special' cloth (very similar to e-cloth). So I usually just spray a very fine mist of water and use the cloth to wipe the screen.

At NO point try to use Pledge/Mr Sheen...it will leave a greasy mark! Accidentally spray on some when I was polishing the TV unit.

Or just go to a computer shop and buy a tub of monitor wipes.... a little bit dearer though. I like to use e-cloth as it gives a remarkable finish with mirror as well

These or similar.

DP is a big geek techy and he only uses those wipes to clean the tv and his monitor.

They clean without scratching or smearing.
