Evening all.
Had SS1 home today coughing. Took her into school in time for her nativity. She was fine throughout it and said her lines very well. Will see how she is over night then decide if she goes tomorrow. I was hoping to get the last of the Xmas pressies tomorrow but can now do it Friday if not.
Was going thursday because Cooker was due to be delivered Friday but bloody boots has phoned and said delayed again until the 18th. Well, 20th for me cos i am out on the 18th and 19th! and she still couldn't say it will definatly be here. bloody better be! I have emailed Zanussi to ask them WTF is going on with their product manafacturing!! Really fed up of waiting. I cannot cook Xmas dinner on the old cooker!

luda Glad to see you are feeling ok. i have tried not to think about mine today, will jsut wait for a phone call to tell me when they can next do the op!
EHM Hope you and Ellie are ok.

Forgotten everything else now lol!

Well didnt put mums decs up, but they are all down from the loft - she has years and years worth, so I am taking her shopping to Aldi in the morning and then she is going to start sorting what she wants out.

The rest I can see if I want - I have already claimed an old small plastic santa and then her nativity (as mine is very small and I will keep for my future DIL), then my bro will take the rest for the club. In fact he is going to help her put up her tree tomorrow.

DH put the boys tobed and the washer on.

Tesco not yet been delivered.

I need to get some pressies for MIL and FIL and also a little bit extra for mum.

Went Xmas shopping this afternoon, bought some of those tall plastic drawers from Poundstretcher for dc to keep their art and crafty stuff in (ds is mad on Mister Maker, so going to label them 'Doodle Drawers') and some craft stuff from Wilkos to go in them. Got them home and the bottom of them is all smashed up Oh well, dh off again tomorrow morning as it is ds's nursery concert, so will bob them back.

Still have several major presents to buy, starting to panic!!

EHM hope you're OK after the shock of the fall. I fell with ds in my arms when he was a baby and had to send dd round to get a neighbour to help me up again - poor ds was screaming (but fine - I saved him but really hurt myself) and I was v shaken and bruised.
Good luck with the viewing - isn't it typical that it happens as soon as you've started a clear-out?!

Afternoon all

Bianca Our postman always opens our door to deliver letters and parcels! But we havent a letterbox. If we're going out we leave the window open a fraction and he throws them through there on to the kitchen floor !

Just got back from seeing the DR about DC's.
DD has got to be reviewed again in Feb because she's not sitting up . Also they think her ankles are different .
Im not too worried as she also asked me if my DC's ate lots of carrots...because of the colour of their skin (olive!). .

Then I went to pick up a repeat prescription and nearly fell over when the receptionist told me I had to pay 10 euro for it ( not the drugs just the paper!) Then had to go to pharmacy and spend a fortune on antidepressants.....the price was enough to make anyone depressed I can tell you!
Ive been looking into buying them online from canada/usa for a fraction of the price...does anyone know anything about this ? I might start a thread asking.

Right better get on with tidying etc.

awww charlie Hope you have a lovely night watching the concert My DD1 has hers on Friday. She is a Pink Lady from Grease!! Not very xmassy, but she is very pleased anyway! DS hasn't been able to go to school all week so he isn't in the school play (not that he minds!) We'll all just go and watch DD1 instead

Well I feel a bit more human now I've bathed! I have a very small and neat little cut, you can hardly see it. The surgeon did a brilliant job and it has healed up really well, still have the stitches there but they aren't really needed by the looks of things.

Tort I hope you feel better today...I can totally sympathise with you I hope they can sort you another appointment very soon. Have they given any indication?
