I give up, will start again tomorrow. DS woke up just as I started putting his toys away to hoover.

I will get this place sorted asap I'm booked in for a homebirth and don't want to spend the start of labour cleaning because I'm too embarassed to let the midwife in.

The dishwasher is on, so is the washing machine and the clothes are inthetumbler on the line.

I'm going to wash up the couple of bits that don't go into the dishwasher and pick up the toys.

I haven't even thought about dinner yet and DS is still in bed I really should've started properly earlier. Although the beds were stripped first thing and I am now very nearly at the bottom of my washing basket

ah! no im winning now! phew! having ten mins before next tank of water. whatever it was that was stuck to the carpet is off! just a general run around to get normal grub off now.

of course before i had children they were never going to make a mess of my things. people who blamed dirty carpets on their children were lazy and hadnt bothered cleaning them in years. oh and their children were ill mannered. mine were going to have proper table manners .

im not sure if i thought they would be born with these manners or if they would just magically listen when i said "no darling dont throw your spaghetti on the floor thats rude, now be a good girl and use your knife and fork"

Right i'm done for the day.

This tread and this cleaning lark was suprisingly fun.

It might give me the incentive to tackle the large jobs in the house if I do it in 10 minute stints rather than sit there and put it off til 'tomorrow' or 'when i'm in the mood.

I am planning on getting rid of all the crap in the cupboard under the stairs tomorrow as I would find it easier to cope with doing it in 10 minute stints.

Right ladies, will hopefully see you all tomorrow, when the fun will begin all over again

I'm going to join if I'm not too late. I've been putting it off and sat on my arse for the last couple of hours.

I'm going to empty and fill the dishwasher and fold some clothes.

right hoovered dining room and stairs, now only the lounge to do, just need to find it under all the toys.
Oh and I could do with doing the bathroom and kitchen although I will do the kitchen while I cook dinner and maybe do the bathroom while dc in bath. multitasking.
