The year 11 look very big and grown up lol!
MN is very slow. I will have to go to bed soon. Early mornings are not my idea of fun!

Oh, he is still a baby! (You can tell my dc are growing up. I used to look at the senior school children and think they were huge/scary/practically grown up, and now I see them as quite young still)

I will be in the same position as you in two years (dd1 starting seniors, and ds in reception). I'm not looking forward to it!

MN is too slow tonight.
I'm going to go to bed. Take care, tort

She can't wait to go. She is very grown up in a lot of ways so she doesn't act like she is just 4(25th July). Plus she is fairly tall. I think she will be fine.

Pic of DS1 in his new uniform on profile. Feels so odd to think of him at my old secondry school.

Ours do 1/2 days until Christmas.

I do feel for August babies when I see them going to school so tiny.
Is she looking forward to it?

Hello
Hope everone is ok. Haven't read a FLY thread for a while.

DC went back to school this morning. DS1 went off happily to start secondry school. DD1 went in without tears.

Reception teacher did a home visit to see DD2 before she starts half days at school Monday. I am enjoying my last 2 full days with her at home alone with me. Feeling that she has to go to school.

I have loads of house work to catch up with and will start properly next week. Plan to do a mass Ebay listing and then be able to afford to take DC to Haven in October half term.

Luda i did find some long sleeve tops for your DD. Will take some pics when i get time!

Happy birthday Minitigger EV - I can still remember my dad taking me school shoe shopping and me persuading him that blue and white spotty winkle pickers were appropriate

Ruby - I have one present in the loft that I got for ds last year but he was too young so I kept it, plus two mini digital cameras for the dds stockings that I bought in the Jan sales

Grouchy - It is good that he is on the waiting list, so he should get in around his birthday, at least.

Cafe- Well done for getting through the dentist visit. My mum reckons tooth ache is the worst pain in the world. I've never had it, thankfully.

Evening all, had a mad day today as it's ds1 birthday! Spent the morning playing ben10 and spiderman and the afternoon decorating his cake while he was at school. He had some friends over after school for a little play so no house work done here today! Will catch up tomorrow. We did have a great day though! Feeling very tired so off for soak in bath then bed.

hello everyone.Been out to Paultons Park today so we're all a bit tired.

too much on thread to catch up with everything but feel for your DD Bianca. I was like Jas at school and got picked on for my dullard clarks shoes. FWIW I gave in and let DD have the Yotoy shoes for her first pair (partly as they were the ONLY Clarks ones to fit her but she is under strict instructions that the toys dont come out during the school day. If she loses them then she never gets the shoes again . TBH she is such a swot I think she'll do as I say. The novelty will wear off and if she has Ruby's toy then she'll be fine (at least she wont need to take her shoes off to play with it )

Ruby - I have already done some xmas shopping

Big spotty Pants

Ed is too young for beavers, he has to be 6 that's 10 months away

Good thing is we've touched base and he's now on the waiting list so he should be able to start asap

I am shattered. Bedtime routines pretty much done so it's minestrone for tea tonight

ZZZZZzzzzzz

Evening!
Didnt manage to do living room or DS's room today but did do lots of washing!
Went to the dentists and behaved like a complete nutcase...I was so nervous I couldnt get my words out when she asked me what the problem was and I then promptly burst into tears! Luckily dentist was very understanding, she packed me off with antibiotics and I have to go back on Monday for extraction! AArrgghh!

You'd think after giving birth twice with minimum pain relief Id be ok with pain but no...theres something about the dentists that makes my toes curl!
Dc's are in bed, DP is out fishing, so im going to relax with a bit of tv and MN.

Have a lovely evening

Evening all

Pants day all round here. I have the runs too and DS1 is still at it.

Went shopping, got frames for mum and then have tried to be attentive.

Made pompom ants with them and all other sorts of stuff to keep them occupied, but they still ended up in bed in disgrace before 7

evening ladies!

Not had time to catch up thread yet but lo in bed, oh at footy so will read in a while.

I've not done much today
~finished sorting lo's wardrobe and getting rid of stuff that doesn't fit (took forever with oh 'helping')
~made lemon drizzle cake - 1st time ever n I'm well impressed . . .in fact so impressed I've munched half already
~hoovered
~tea on for me & for oh to reheat later
~worked on shopping list but as usual, no motivation there and it's looking quite crappy

Am getting my tea then shower and sit down with mysupermarket I think, see what I can come up with. Got to find cheque book at some point too this week to pay an overdue bill . . .oops completely slipped my mind n I'm normally soooo organised with stuff like that!

Am also aiming to read through some more of a thread on money saving expert where the OP is feeding herself and oh for 50p per person per day until xmas Just think of the savings there!

Anyways, bbl to read properly tata x

lol Luda that 3-headed link is rather good Dd is wanting to be a Native American Indian but I am not 100% sure how suitable it is..

Ruby missed that 10minute deadline, sorry!

Ds has gone to a friends (after much crying that I never let him play with anyone) and dd has a friend (nice boy) here (after much crying that I never let her play with anyone). It all suits me as I'm pretty tired and not in the mood for squabbles which are an inevitable part of this first week back at school.
