If you like your vacuum, what is it?

Wanting to get a new vacuum cleaner but overwhelmed by the choice! Don't have the budget for a Dyson, so would love to know what vacuum cleaners you have that you rate.

I've seen a Vax for a good price but haven't had one before.

Shark here too - best vacuum cleaner I've had

Miele Cat and Dog. Brilliant.

Henry, we have 3 for and it's not to heavy going up and down all those stairs.

I saw Sharks recommended on here a few months ago so got one when my old vacuum gave up. I didn't know I could actually love a vacuum cleaner, but I do 😆.. Very reasonably priced too.

Shops add I had a Dyson before and I hated it. Heavy, crap suction. Wouldn't get bagless ever again.

Sebo Felix. I love it. Powerful, upright but converts to handheld. Bagged so better suction. Easy to dismantle to clean brush. Makes vacuuming easy and deeply satisfying (for a boring housework job).

Henry here too with the turbo foot as an added extra

Blasted autocorrect - should be Sebo.

Another vote for Sebo. I have used an independent supplier for the last 2 vacuum cleaners and they told me that they get more Dysons in for repair than any other brand. They don't rate Dyson at all.

caperboo we have a very fluffy cat and a GTec K9. My mum lived ours so much (the GTech not the cat!) that she got one too. She has 2 hairy black labs, and the GTech works fine for them.

Zanussi Air Speed Lite with Suction Seal is the best I've ever had. It doesn't throw up dust, and picks up dog hair just fine. I'm always amazed at the amount of dirt it picks up. I can't remember the price, but knowing me it wouldn't have been very expensive.

I have a Vax Be energise Tempo
£25 refurbished and it is amazing !! It lifts up so much dirt but it's incredibly lightweight I can lift it one finger even when its full

I had an old Dyson from 1999 and loved it, changed it about 4 years ago for another Dyson which I hated. So many design flaws compared to the last one.

I now have Miele Cat and Dog, but I don't have pets. I bought is because I have long hair and it is like having pets Grin

demonstrates lots of different vacuum cleaners, and it is why I chose my Miele. Mine is a C3 but he demonstrates a C1. The turbo brush is incredible.

Bosch Athlet - I love it. How it picks up nearly half a cylinder full of crap on a brand new carpet, that we dont wear shoes on EVERY DAY- I will never know!

I think this is the one my sister has got. She had a really old Vax before that - one of those big orange ones from the 90's that wash too. It packed up and she got this one. I've not used it but she likes it and it's got a good guarantee.

5yr warranty too. And much cheaper than Dyson.

There's a Henry vacuum at work. It's bloody cumbersome. My sister has one, she loves It as she's in a flat so no lugging up the stairs. They are good though

Shark Rocket.

Prefer it to previous Dyson

If you're looking at Vax, get one of the Vax Air models. They're the only Vax's that come with the longer warranties

Henry really like the bags, they hold so much and I don't get the dust cloud when emptying that I used to with my bagless dyson.
