Our house had an odd alcove so we got a carpenter in to put a door across it and shelves into it & then had him back a week later as I'd decided I needed another shelf in order for it to be the airing cupboard of my dreams.
We have three sets of bedding for us & the DC and two sets for each of the guest rooms; two sets of towels for us & the DC and one set for the guest room plus a couple of spares.
Table linen is in a drawer at the bottom of the book case in the dining room.
In my single days, it used to live in a suitcase under my bed. And I didn't have table linen as I didn't have a table other than in the garden!

MNetters make fun of my linen cupboard. It has six shelves with printed labels. Top to bottom:

Baby/child
Swimming towels and pillowcases
Hand towels, flannels and bath towels
Single bedding (flat, fitted, duvet covers)
Double bedding (flat, fitted, duvet covers)
King size bedding (flat, fitted, duvet covers)
In the space at the bottom I have White Company duvet storage bags with a spare single and double duvet, and pillows.

Folded in a white laundry basket at base of airing cupboard. We don't have extra sheets though as they come directly of bed, get washed and dried and out right back on.

Us- One king duvet cover, one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, five pillow cases. Two big towels.
DSD - One single duvet cover, one fitted sheet, one pillow case. One towel.

All washed, dried and put back on the same day. No need to store stuff. I hate the accumulation of stuff. When these wear out I will replace them. It's a totally waste of my money for me to have any more bedding than I need.

A deep drawer, which I managed to spill a glass of milk into just as I was going to bed on Wednesday. I may have had a minor strop over it as 11weeks pregnant and desperate for sleep. Just finished re-washing all the bedding today.

We are very fortunate to have inherited horrendously grotesque built in wardrobes from the previous owners of our house.

They are tasteful caravan style (ie wardrobe each side of bed with overhead presses between (over the slot where our bed fits in), yeah I know you're all jealous :)

This is the hovel where our sheets, duvet covers and towels reside.

When I win the Lottery / inherit a load of cash, myfirst home improvement will be. ....

I have 8 duvet covers and various sheets and pillowcases! Far too many. 2 is probably enough.

We have one spare set and they live in the storage cupboard in our bedroom.
Kids' spare towel and bedding live in a blanket box in dd's room.
----

I have about ten sets, whenever I get depressed I buy a new duvet cover, thnking it will sort things out :D
But I just realised having ten sets to wash and iron is what is depressing

Towels, you can never have enough, and they dont need ironing

Bedding for our bed is in the divan drawers. Stuff for the kids beds and towels are in a blanket box at the end of the bed.

I keep the spare sets in the pillow case and under the mattress of the particular bed it's to go on, when I take a set off to wash I flip the mattress and put the new bedding on, it means it's done there and then, no wrestling with duvet covers come bedtime!!

Just wanted to say a big hanks to the person with the bright idea of putting the duvet cover inside the pillowcase!!! Easy to find, easy to stack , keep items together and sort. Sorry for resurrecting this, I was googling on the subject and came actoss it and then I joined up.

I am just Envy at Labootins storage room and also at anyone who has an airing cupboard!

I have a combi boiler and so no airing cupboard Sad

However to answer the question - I have too much bedding but I keep it in a shallow floor to ceiling cupboard my wonderful Dad built for me, in a space which wasn't much used before. I have to be very tidy and fold it all, just so, or it doesn't fit. And I am not usually either tidy or 'just so', so it's a challenge!

No airing cupboard so in a draw in large chest plus some in a basket under the bed.

I have an armoire in the laundry room where I store cleaned and pressed bedding and clean towels. Additionally, DSs have space in their armoires to keep their own clean bedding.
