How much do you pay for your windows being cleaned?

Outsides only. I pay £13 for a 4 bed house- 9 rooms in total I think, plus 2 doors- every 5-6 weeks.

I live SE north of London- Home Counties.

I feel this is quite £££ but am not sure. My biggest issue is that I don't really need them cleaning as often as they turn up. They don't do the sills and it takes 2 of them about 10 minutes!

Anyone else?

Price quoted for 6 windows, 1door in small bungalow did seem excessive, and I can't imagine needing a monthly clean. One of my very versatile helpers does them as necessary; one of the benefits of paying top rate, so I think we're all happy.

Very disconcerting when they wake me up clunking outside the windows!

East midlands £12 once a month.

Eight windows, two doors.

Lovely lads, they make my day when they get their pole and chammy out. Worth every penny.

Sorry, that's for a 3 storey house with loads of windows; 14 on the front, 4 on the side (2 are v big) and 10 on the back. No conservatory and they don't do the doors.

£12.50, and he comes every two months.

8 windows - 4 front, 4 back.

He's got a sort of brush/hose/water thingy and also does the sills, surrounds, fascias, doors etc.

£8 for 8 windows, all the sills and 2 doors. Supposed to be monthly but is always longer than this. Takes about ten minutes (but obviously that doesn't include driving to me, equipping the van etc). Live coastal N Wales. If I didn't pay a window cleaner the windows would never be cleaned. It makes such a difference, especially in winter, when previously I couldn't see out the windows for salt smeared all over them.

£20, every month 19 windows plus a fairly big conservatory, outside only.

I don't mind the cost because I would never do them myself and only manage inside every other month on average and the inside of the conservatory once a year!

£11 Lincolnshire - 9 windows and a conservatory (not roof)

They visit every 4 weeks and takes about 10-15 mins.

We recently paid £28 for our windows. Rural setting but quite modern new build with larger than average windows. Not huge house though - only 4 bedrooms. I told dh that we would do with them being done every 3 months at that price. Am happy to do the kitchen windows and any others that look really bad in the intervening periods.

£15 for 8 windows, front door and patio doors in rural West country. Is quarterly though so works out at only £60 a year.

In Scotland - rural village in Fife - we have 10 windows plus patio doors, and last time he was here, he apologised for putting the price up to £5.30.

I think it's brilliant value and they work really efficiently. We do give them a Christmas bonus.
