I managed to drop a piece of toast on my top and not sure of the best way to get the greasy butter mark out. From experience I have not been successful at getting these types of marks out in the past. Please help!!! Dont want to throw the top away. Thanks

Talc - Lay the top flat liberally sprinkle talc on and leave overnight. This will draw out the grease. Worked on my pure silk dry clean only dress after the dry cleaners failed to get the mark out.

Rub washing up liquid on the mark before you wash it in the washing machine

Shove a bit of water and lots of soap on it now. Wash as normal tomorrow. I often put washing up liquid and my stains always come out. Hope it does come out!
