Noise reducing shutters?

Hi I’m new! But really keen to know if anyone can help me? I’m about to decorate my bedroom and have heard you can buy internal window shutters that reduce traffic noise. Has anybody had any installed in the uk? Did they work? Can you recommend a company? Thanks

The window is double glazed but I’m guessing the windows are quite old (we moved in in March) triple glazing? I hadn’t heard of I will look into that thank you.

We had triple glazing put in about 8 years ago for noise reducing purposes - it is brilliant and was surprisingly that inexpensive.

Any shutters will help a bit. Is the window double glazed? That's the best way to reduce noise. (Or secondary glazing but that isn't very attractive).
