Baby elegance nip nip high chair v Joie mimsy lx highchair

I've been researching highchairs and have narrowed it down the the baby elegance nip nup highchair and the joie mimsy lx highchair.
I feel the nup nup is easier to clean but after seeing it in the shop it looks a lot smaller than the joie and I think my 5 month old boy will have outgrown it after 12-18 months. I know the nup nup won silver in the baby awards this week.
The joie mimsy looks much bigger and like it can move easier. It also looks a little more childish with patterns and the insert can be washed.Does anyone have experience of either?

I def will get the ikea one as a spare for our minder. We are quiet far from Dublin so I had settled on buying one in Smyth's for our little boy.
I thought the joie mimzy might be difficult to keep clean alright. I read the food gets caught between the insert and padding.
The nup nup does look really easy to clean but worried it's a little on the small side. I guess once they reach 18 months+ they'll be in a booster seat at the table.
I wish I was better at making decisions.I found it really difficult to pick a buggy and feel this is nearly as hard. There's so much choice.

OK, to answer properly, I haven't used those specific chairs but I have had one like the Mimzy with the padding all over and I'd strongly advise not to use one like that, it will be a nightmare to clean especially if you get little cracks in the padding.

Re the Nup nup or nip nip, you really, really don't need to it recline (in fact it's dangerous to give food to a baby/child when they're not fully upright) and you don't need the footrest thing either, just one more thing to clean and for them to muck about on when they're bigger.

Honestly, the antilop looks basic but it really is a godsend to be able to clean it easily, strap in easily, and have the inflatable insert which can be removed or replaced. You really need something you can just wipe not muck about putting in a washing machine Shock

Both of them look big for a baby too whereas the Antilop is nice and snug.

I'd say the only downside of the Antilop is the legs stick out slightly and you end up kicking them, and you can't quickly fold it up but you use it so often you probably wouldn't need to (and it disassembles for travel).

OP I did look at fancy ones thinking 'my baby will have better than the basic ikea one' but having tried others they were a massive pain in the arse, impractical, and the ikea one is brilliant. The only other one I've seen people recommend is the Stokke trip trap.

Sorry but no baby chair will ever top the ikea antilop.
