I was diagnosed with multiple breast fibroadenomas in my early 30’s I’m now 49 and found one of the lumps has grown a lot. I’m not sure if it’s because I have been weight training, running and cycling and lost weight and my breast have gotten smaller that I noticed it while lying in the bath a could see it or I should be really worried that it has become something more sinister. Will call GP tomorrow but my surgery is awful and worrried I won’t see someone. Anyone had any problems with fibroadenomas turning sinister?

I had a fibroadenoma diagnosed in December, at 54, following a biopsy. At my recent review they said I was called back because they are unusual at my age but almost never turn sinister. I'm to have a final follow up mammo in 6 months but was reassured it is nothing to worry about.
