I have had IBS for about 20 years. In my twenties, had investigations to rule out anything else, nothing came up and so was told IBS. I manage it with buscopan, immodium and occasional laxatives. About a year ago, I cut down on gluten - no bread and GF pasta and the bloating and pains have pretty much gone. For the past few weeks however, I have had pretty much constant diarrhoea. I haven't eaten many trigger foods, although I have had a glass of wine or two.
Is there any point in me going back to the dr or should I just adapt myself?
