colitis relapse or dicky tummy due to the weather??

had ulcerative colitis for many years but i haven't had a relapse in quite a while so not sure if it is one or just a dicky tummy due to the weather, so therefore can't decide whether to get the steroids out of the medicine cupboard or not, what do you think??

i've never had blood in my stools, just undigested food, also goes to complete fluid, happens every time i eat with severe stomach cramps, i go totally off any food and end up living on a few basic staples, like toast, rice, pasta, chicken, white fish and dry crackers!!

When my colitis flares up, I know instantly because I get achey legs and blood in my stool. Do you get similar symptoms?
