Cocodamol - can you drink with it?

I managed to shut my fingers in car door this afternoon. Nothing broken, but just back from A&E where they gave me cocodamol and brufen for the pain. Have friend's ds staying this weekend too and was looking forward to a glass or several of wine once kids all in bed. But will the wine knock me out in combo with the drugs I've had? Don't normally 'do' strong painkillers - the odd paracetomol is my limit! What do you think?

Had it at c. 5.00. Felt a bit zonked for a while, but ok again now. They didn't give me any to bring home, so I'm just back on paracetomol and frozen peas (on the fingers, not eating them!) now. Will give it a while and then maybe have a glass of wine before bed. DD1 and friend's DS currently having a "midnight" feast, consisting of mini cheddars with choc buttons on top... I fear sleep may be a little way off just yet!

Can't type with one hand. This has taken ages. Thanks for all advice.

I don't think you'll need a drink - cocodamol knocked me out by itself!

I have drunk whilst taking co-codamol and didnt notice that I got drunk any quicker. The upside is that you don't get a headache LOL.
