I had this awful illness years ago and I feel like its reactivated. I've had lots of recent blood tests which showed up normal and the monospot screening which was negative. I've read the mono test is notorious for showing up false negatives and the ebv test is known to be more accurate. Is anyone familiar with a test that can show a reactivation rather than past infection. I understand that this illness can mimic other illnesses but the symptoms are identical and looking back I don't think I ever recovered properly from the initial bout.
