My stomach is moving! For the past few months I've been feeling occasional odd twitches in the belly area and put them down to wind or something. I don't see any way I could be pg - DS is 9 months old, we have hardly been at it like rabbits and have been using condoms anyway, and I'm having periods. Not to mention no pg symptoms whatsoever (and I certainly had them big time with DS). So what is this? I never had it before I was pregnant so could it be something to do with bowels etc. getting pushed around by c-section? Has anyone else had this? It has been doing it loads today and I just looked down and saw it move a bit - very, very like when DS used to kick when I was pg.

If by some tiny chance I am having one of those weird symptomless, bump-free pregnancies, would it show up in a pg test?

Ooooh - for a while there I thought I was going mad - thank you! Kind of bittersweet as I'd love another and DP isn't sure, so to miraculously find myself 5 or 6 months pg would have been oddly welcome, but I really didn't think I could be. (And being practical it would be hard work... DS is a handful already :))

Interesting to hear how many of you have had this and it being SO weirdly like kicking...!

Of course if I do turn out to be about to pop, you shall all be the first to know :o

mind you Snowleopard, don't know why you can't be pregnant...my hubbie was working away when I got pregnant(he came home when daughter was 3 months old!)and i was pregnant when he went back! Happened again when son was 3 months old too! (no periods you see so i presumed i couldn't get pregnant!...mind you, love em all to bits.)

i had my tubes tied after last pregnancy but - i must admit- after a few strange "goings on" i did take a pregnancy test-2/3 infact-just in case! think it's most definately linked to having had caesarians.

I've had similar feelings, and no c-section here (ds is 9 months though). Also of concern is that a few months after ds was born my ultra-reliable ovulation pain has subsided as well, leading to utter terror that I might be pg again.

I think everything's just been pushed around so much, plus we are now much more aware of what kicking feels like so we are tending to associate the feeling with that. I HOPE!

yes, i get this weird sensation too-after 3 consecutive c-sections-and i told my hubbie i had an alien in my tummy...can't be pregnant...have been getting them for last 6 yrs!!! my hubbie thought i might have a hernia!?
once, my tummy felt like it was turning itself inside out...really weird.i think it's something to do with having had c.section though.

Sl I had this a bit after Dd was born, infact it still happens now on ocassion. You're right it is just like kicking and is so strange when you see your tummy move again! I've just put it down to wind - interestingly dd was a c section too, wonder if it's linked?

Hmmm - as I understand it, pregnancy tests only tell you you are pregnant during the first while, after which the hcg levels they are testing for subside ... imho you should go and see a doctor if you are not sure.

I know from reading that it is possible to have a symptomless pregnancy following a normal one (people often think that that only happens the first time).
