Does anyone take steroids for asthma?

yes for asthma they make him like he is high on loads of smarties

and made him very hungry

didn't take them for very long each time though

and then he goes back to normal

These steroids are very effective for reducing inflammation of the airways. They work fairly quickly and if you are short of breath they are brilliant.As a family of asthma sufferers we have had these many times and they are great when your chest is at it's worst.

if you have asthma and you have a chest infection - take them its like a fkin miricle.

Dd has had those for her Asthma too and I can't remember any side effects that we noticed.

Always greatly improved her condition though.

My ds has/ All I can remember is that you should have a limited amount in the course of a year (I think 3 times) as it affects growth. Probably not the same for an adult. I had a friend who took them and it made her hyper.
